Katy & JuanManuel : Monterrey, Mexico

I photographed this wedding in Monterrey, Mexico during my trip to Mexico this June.  One of the workshops I was teaching included an opportunity for 5 students to come along with me to a real wedding, observe how I photograph, and ask questions as the day went on.  We actually videotaped the “behind the scenes” footage from the day, which will be on my tutorial DVD this fall.  Oh, and did I mention – it was 108F degrees that day.  Definitely the hottest wedding I have ever shot :)

Five Looks

Every year I try something different and crazy. This was the project for this year. Three engagement sessions crammed into one huge post. The models in the shoot are two of my good friends whose wedding is actually in a couple of days.

Styling & make up for the black & white shoot done by Annabelle Petry. Make up for the field shoot by Lana Mazun.
