Had a great time with Sally, Matt and a 45mm Tilt Shift lens
Very fortunately the weather was just PERFECT; I’m pretty sure this was one of the warmest days of February ever. Well there’s not much to say – enjoy the pix

I am a photographer, and I really love what I do. I wake up every morning thankful for being able to take pictures for a living, while there is so much pain and hurt in this world. One of my favorites things to do is to sit in a coffee shop and do nothing but think about life. My photography is an extension of who I am. I call my style "thoughtful", for a lack of a better word; my favorite images are the ones about which you are able think for a while - those images that tell a story. I love telling stories. I am not very good at when using words, however; that's why I am a photographer - I tell stories using photographs.

California has some of the best lighting – I’m really jealous. The Seattle clouds are a big enemy over here, a constant fight. But hey, once in a while I can travel to the sunny side of the country and enjoy the light

Last Saturday I had a really great time sharing my photography knowledge with seven talented people. For me it was a big privilege simply because I have not imagined myself to be doing this; to be honest, I have never even thought I would be a photographer, ever. And now I have the honor of helping others learn the great art of photography, something that I’ve fallen in love with over the last couple years.
Here are some images from the workshop. If you are interested in joining a future workshop, please contact me so I can put you on a list.

- Hey, your photography is amazing! i love the work you do. I do some photography myself, i have an eye for creativity, but i lack the knowledge of how to make my images come out the way i have them pictured in my head. I'm a friend of alex and liza koev and live in salem, they have told me a lot about you :-) if you have a workshop happening i would love to come up... let me know, i have a lot i need to learn! Angela
- Right, time for you to fly to New Zealand ;) Would love to learn from such an amazing photographer.

- I can say for sure, you did a great job!!!

- I had to learn it of course, but I did it on my own, and not formally :)
- daniel, i was wondering, did you ever learn photography, i mean like a degree or whatever or did it just come naturally?
